Crêpes are thin pancakes of French origin. In Italy, the sweet version has become popular, but they can also be served as a savory dish. Their versatility makes them perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Sweet crêpes are often filled with jam, chocolate, fruit, or whipped cream, while savory crêpes can be stuffed with cheese, vegetables, and cold cuts.
Once the batter is prepared, which is quite liquid, pour a ladle of it into a preheated, lightly greased non-stick pan. Quickly spread it in a circular and even motion. When the edges start to brown, flip the crêpe and cook the other side.
