VEGANBEL ORO is a powdered mix for preparing sweet croissants and other leavened pastries, such as brioche or Venetian buns. The preparation process is similar to traditional non-vegan recipes.
Interestingly, with VEGANBEL ORO, you can also easily prepare festive leavened desserts like vegan panettone, vegan pandoro, and vegan colomba. However, it’s important to note that these desserts cannot legally be called panettone, pandoro, or colomba because their names are protected by regulations requiring the use of eggs and butter.
For festive leavened desserts, the preparation time is approximately 8 hours. It involves making a pre-dough followed by a main dough. This process also requires the use of another product from the Veganbel line: VEGANBEL MADRE, a dehydrated natural yeast that ensures proper leavening and the traditional open crumb structure expected in panettone, pandoro, and colomba.
